Welcome to Visual Arts 11/12. This course is designed to introduce students to the many creative and inventive aspects of
the film and television industry. During the course of the term you will be introduced to a variety of new and interesting software programs and have opportunities to film, edit and score your own movies.

Setting up a shot
Camera Angles/shots
Lighting for film
Acting for film
Film review and Media Literacy
Script writing and planning
Storyboards and T-Squares
Adding Effects
Scoring and Burning to disk
Voice Overs
Intro to Adding and Editing Audio
This semester you will learn and use the following programs:

Adobe Photoshop CS2
Windows Movie Maker
Windows DVD pro
Intro to Blender
